Moo & Gai Tord - Fried Pork & Chicken Meat

Ingredients:
Serve 2

Preparation for Pork Meat Marinated:

450g Pork Meat
4 Cloves Garlic
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Powder
1/2 Salt
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
2 1/2 Tablespoons Cooking Milk

Garlic - Peeled and cut small, then roughly crush.

Place the meat in a large bowl. If you have a big piece of pork meat, then cut in 1 cm in slices or strips.

Soy sauce and Oyster sauce.

Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.

1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.

1/2 teaspoon of salt.

1/4 teaspoon of cayenne powder - can add more if you like spicy.

1 tablespoon of corn starch.

2 1/2 tablespoons of cooking milk. You can add chopped garlic after this.

I mixed the meat before I added the chopped garlic, I forgot.

Mixed all the ingredients together by hand.

Seal covered, and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Preparation for Chicken Meat Marinated:

500g Chicken Meat or Wings
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Cooking Milk
1/4 Chili Powder
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
1 Egg

Chicken - wash and take away what you don't need.

Cut into 2 pieces each wing, and slice to let the marinated absorb better.

Place in a large bowl.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt.

2 tablespoons of cooking milk.

1/4 teaspoon of chili powder.

1 tablespoon of corn starch.

Add the egg and mix all the ingredients together by hand.

Seal covered, then put the meat into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Cooking:

Prepare a dish for cooked meat.

Add 1 cup of oil in a medium heat.

When the oil is getting hot, then add some marinated pork to the pot carefully. Leave for 4-5 minutes or until the garlic turns brown. Be careful of popping oil!! ouch ouch

Turn the meat, and from now keep stirring/turning every 1-2 minutes - they'll burn easily. And remove all the garlic when they're getting just brown.

This colour is done, don't let the colour turn really brown in the pot, otherwise you'll get hard meat.

Done.

Chicken:

When you've done the pork, you can use the same pot & oil to cook the chicken afterward.

Gently put some chicken into the pot and leave about 4-5 minutes, or until the chicken turns brown.
Careful they hate humans, pop pop!

When the meat turns brown, keep turning regularly until done.
This colour is done with crispy skin, don't let them turn really brown in the pot.

Serve immediately and best with sticky rice!
